The mission of the Friends of the Hospitals Group is to provide organized support for approval of the Stanford University Medical Center Renewal Project.
The Friends Group consists of members of the community who believe the proposed renewal and expansion of the hospitals will greatly enhance healthcare services for the community and that the entire community will benefit from the improved facilities.
The goals of the Friends of the Hospitals are threefold:
- To educate the community about the importance of the project
- To foster an understanding of the impacts of the project and seek reasonable approaches to address impacts
- To seek approval in a timely manner so that the projects can move forward with construction
Working together, we want to maintain and improve the world class medical facility we have in Palo Alto.
